Bole District Chief Executive gives bungalow to medical officers

Bole (N/R), Aug 12, GNA – Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu, the Bole District Chief Executive, has given his official accommodation to two doctors posted to the district and stays in his private house.

He told newsmen that he had to do this because the Assembly was facing challenges in providing accommodation for officers posted to the district.

He said he also wanted to make the two medical officers comfortable and encourage them to stay in the district to provide quality medical care to the people.

Alhaji Abudu said the assembly had renovated the bungalows of the District Commander of Police and the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) at a cost of GHc 30,000.00.

He explained that the two bungalows were in a deplorable state and the assembly had to use part of its Common Fund to renovate them and make them comfortable for the officers to motivate them to give off their best in the provision of security in the district.

The assembly also renovated the offices of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture which also houses the Audit Service and the Rural Enterprises Project Office at the cost of GHc 40,000.

He said the renovation of the MOFA offices also became necessary as it was abandoned since its construction in the 1970s.
