Twifo Praso (C/R) Oct.5, GNA- The police at Twifo -Praso, on Monday retrieved the body of a six- year- old kindergarten pupil, Bernice Awudzi who felt into a pit latrine near her school.
Mr. Peter Ayirezang Twifo-Heman-Lower-Denkyira District Police Commander told the Ghana News Agency, that the parents of Bernice made a report to the police when she failed to return home from school last Friday.
He said during investigations, her body was discovered in the pit at 1800 hours on that day. The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Central Regional Hospital for autopsy.
