Boateng made Awutu-Senya constituency chairman for NPP

Awutu Bereku (C/R), Oct. 21, GNA – Mr Enoch Boateng was on Thursday elected chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Awutu-Senya constituency at a delegates’ conference held at Awutu-Bereku. He polled 54 of the 80 votes cast.

Other officers elected were first vice chairman, Mr Bashiru Salifu, Mr Kwabena Adu Amoakohene, second vice chairman, Mr Justice Esseku Tetteh, secretary and Mr Charles Mantey, assistant secretary. The rest were Mrs Joana Odoom, treasurer, Mr Yushav Sulemana, youth organiser, Alhaji Bature, organiser, and Ms Sussie Brew Appiah, women’s organiser.

In an address, Alhaji Mohammed Gibirine, Central Regional organiser of the party appealed to the delegates to remain committed to the party.
