Board Members For Forestry Commission Appointed

President Kufour in consultation with the Council of State has appointed a retired forest utilization officer, John Asmah as chairman of the governing board of the Forestry Commission and A. S. K. Boachie-Dapaah as the Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission. Members include a representative of the timber and trade industry, F. W. Addo-Ashong and E. B. Noah of the Wildlife trade and industry as members of the Commission.

The rest are a professional Forester and ex-Managing Director of Subri Industrial Plantation Limited, Dr. Emmanuel Akoto and a representative of Non Governmental Organisations in forest and wildlife management, Ms. Cynthia Nuno. Mr. Peter Boateng represents the Lands Commission on the board.
