BNI unable to locate stolen cars in my house – Nii Lante Vanderpuye

Former Minister of Youth and Sports Nii Lante Vanderpuye has revealed that the BNI were not successful in their attempt to nail him with an alleged stolen car.

“I am happy to inform you all that they left my home without any of the alleged stolen cars since,” Nii Lante told Accra based Citi fm

“I have never taken any government car to my house. All the cars I have there are duly mine. The only car (Toyota Avensis) which previously belonged to the state was sold to me after my service as a minister and I have paid everything expected of me. They were not successful in their quest to shame me.”

“As a law abiding citizen, I always do the right thing to avoid any future consequences. “

“There was change of ownership between February and March and there are documents there to prove it. My family is safe and grateful to you especially those amongst you, who drove all the way there.”

“Those who also called and made personal interventions are much appreciated. We shall overcome. In Unity and love , we shall pursue, overtake and gather all. God bless you!” he added.

The member of Parliament for the Odododiodio constituency was the last Sports minister of the immediate past NDC government.
