Blame politicians for our challenges – Chief

The paramount Chief of Manso Nkwanta, Nana Bi Kusi Appiah II Traditional Area in the Ashanti region, has tasked politicians to ensure that, their policies are in the interest of the masses and not their selfish interest.

He berated politicians and accused them of being part of Ghana’s challenges. He was speaking at the 60th anniversary parade in the Ashanti region where he underscored the need for politicians to be selfless.

Nana Bi Kusi Appiah bemoaned the polarization and partisanship in the body politics, a situation he stressed divides the nation instead of uniting us.

Ghana’s 60th anniversary he posited, was worth celebrating but our economic woes and difficulties should be placed at the door step of our leaders who have failed to fulfill their promises.

He also used the opportunity to appeal to President Nana Akufo-Addo to fulfill his campaign promises including the free Senior High School (SHS), the 1-district-1-factory, the one-million dollar per constituency and all the other social-economic interventions promised Ghanaians during the campaign period.
