Black stars, don’t play like the mahama-led government

The youth wing of the Progressive People’s Party gravely wishes to index its full blessings to the Black Stars as they prepare for their third successive appearance at the world’s biggest football showpiece, the FIFA World Cup.
The PPP youth are confident that the team will excel in this year’s tournament despite the fact that the Black stars are in a tough group.
It is also our fervent prayer that the Almighty God grants them the courage, confidence and discipline to excel in all their games. We hope and pray that they will put in their maximum effort to illuminate Ghana’s image at the world stage.
We pray against any appalling performance which has a resemblance of a Mahama – led government; in other words, we resist anything that is synonymous with failure. We want to encourage the team not to play abysmally like the President Mahama-led NDC government, which has performed poorly since it won power.
We rather want to appeal to them to visualize the excellence of a PPP– led government and play excellently.
We wish them the best of luck and God’s blessings.
