Black Engineers donate books to UMaT

Tarkwa, March 16, GNA – The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) Chapter on Monday donated books worth 1,000 dollars to the University of Mines and Technology at Tarkwa. The President of NSBE, Mr Prince Odei, who presented the books to the university’s library, said the Society’s vision was to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and impact positively on society. The librarian of the university, Mrs. Victoria Dodoo who received the books, expressed gratitude to NSBE for the donation. The Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Professor Isaac Adetunde Atanda, commended the student leadership for their effort to acquire the books for the University.
