Bishop urges religious groups to live in harmony

The Right Reverend Dr Daniel Sylvanus Mensah Torto, Bishop of Accra Anglican Diocese, on Thursday, urged the various religious groups to live in peace and harmony, to promote development.

He said it is in the interest of Ghana, for all the groups to learn to accommodate one another.

Rt Rev Torto said this at a three- day crusade being organised by the church in collaboration with the UK-based World Miracle Outreach (WMO) at the Black Star Square in Accra.

He said peaceful co-existence between the Anglican Church and Ga Traditional Council enabled the church to get permission from the Council to organise the crusade even though there is a ban on noise making in the Accra metropolis.

The crusade is on the theme: “Only Jesus can save.”

Dr Lawrence Tetteh, President and Founder of WM O said God has blessed Ghana, hence the peace the people are enjoying.

He asked Ghanaians to believe in God as it is only Him who can bless and provide solutions to any problem.
