Bishop Monroe donates over $200,000 for devt

Winneba (C/R), Aug. 30, GNA – The Senior Bishop’s Deputy of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, the Right Reverend Dr Godfred Zormelo, has commended the Presiding Bishop for the Western West Africa Branch of the Church, the Right Reverend Bishop Dr Kenneth Monroe, for donating over 200,000 dollars towards projects of the Church in Ghana and Togo.

They include schools, health projects and Church buildings. Rt. Rev. Dr Zormelo made the commendation at the just-ended 98th annual conference of the West Ghana Conference of the Church at Winneba. He also praised the Missionary Supervisor and the wife of Bishop Monroe, Mrs Sheila W. Monroe, for her high sense of commitment to missionary activities and encouragement for her husband and leaders towards the promotion of their divine functions.

Rt. Rev. Dr Zormelo assured the Presiding Bishop and his wife of the continued support of leaders and members of the Ghana branch to make their stay in the country fruitful.
