Tamale Dec 25, GNA – The Most Reverend Gregory Ebo Kpiebaye, Archbishop of Tamale, has called on Ghanaians to respect the laws of the country even under difficult situations. He noted that no community could develop without the people being law abiding and showing respect for authority. In a Christmas message, Archbishop Kpiebaye said any community that did not respect authority and the laws of the land would live in confusion. He said it was disheartening that some communities in the country Oguaa hospitals deliver 11 babies on Xmas Cape Coast, Dec 25, GNA – A total of 11 babies, were on Friday Christmas eve and Saturday Christmas day, delivered at the three public hospitals in the Cape Coast township. Six babies, three boys and three girls, were delivered at the Cape Coast District Hospital on Christmas eve, while another boy, had been delivered by 1100 hours on Christmas day, when the GNA visited the Hospital. The mid-wife in charge, Mrs Florence Quainoo, said all the mothers and babies were doing well and that four other expectant mothers, were awaiting delivery. At the Central Regional Hospital, the mid-wife in charge, Ms Mary-Magdalene Mensah, said a set of twins, a boy and a girl were delivered shortly after mid-night on Christmas day and a boy on Christmas eve. The Ewim Urban Health Centre recorded one birth, a boy, on Christmas day. Ms Josephine Mensah, the midwife in charge, said both the mother and baby had been discharged. There had been no delivery at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) hospital, when GNA visited there.
