Binduri drowning Update: Three bodies recovered from Kuba river

Two more bodies of the four children who drowned in the Kuba River at Binduri in the Upper East region have been recovered.

The children, from the same family got drowned when they went to the riverside to harvest water melon.

One more body is yet to be retrieved.

The Kuba River is the main receptacle of excess water from Burkina Faso’s Barge Dam.

Assemblyman for the area, Amali Mbun in an interview with XYZ News said they are still searching for the last victim’s body.
