Bibiani police mounts search for mother of an abandoned baby

Bibiani (W/R), May 07, GNA – The Bibiani District police command are searching for the mother of an abandoned baby who was found in a market at Sefwi-Bekwai in the Western Region.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Felix Toya told the Ghana News Agency that on May 02, one Miss Perpetual Adade heard the cry of a baby in one of the stalls at the market and found the three-week old baby.

He appealed to the public to assist the police to apprehend the mother of the baby girl.
