Bibiani-Anwiaso-Bekwai celebrates 54 years of Ghana’s independence

Bibiani, (W/R), March 6, GNA – The 54th Independence Day celebration= in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai was marked with a parade of school children at the district capital, Bibiani. More than 3,000 children drawn from both the public and private school= s participated.

Also there, were workers of the Noble Gold Mine, a mining company, operating in the area.

Mr Moses Kofi Armah, the District Chief Executive (DCE), drew attentio= n to the need for all the people to be disciplined. He noted that not much progress could be achieved in any society where the people simply showed complete disregard for the law. He advised the school children to work hard on their books and to ensure that they gave respect to the elderly and people in authority. 11 March 11
