Biaden Gets New Kyidomhene

Biadan (Brong Ahafo), 29 Oct. Mr Yaw Kusi-Boadu, 48, a former cashier of the Brong-Ahafo Regional Development Corporation (BARDEC), Sunyani, has been installed Kyidomhene of Biadan in the Berekum District. Mr Kusi-Boadu whose stool name is Nana Baako Kusi-Boadu, succeeds his senior brother, Nana Yaw Febiri who died last August. Nana Kusi-Boadu swore the oath of allegiance to Nana Adu-Gyamfi Kumaning, the Akwamuhene of the Berekum traditional area. In an address, Nana Kumaning advised the new chief to serve his people instead of lording it over them. Nana Kusi-Boadu promised to work for the development of the area.
