Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has cautioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to be wary of backstabbers amongst persons he has surrounded himself with.
The Asantehene said the president must not countenance acts of backbiting in his leadership, indicating that some persons around him will only be interested in issues that will result in his failure.
He said no one in his government, apart from him, was voted for as president, so he (the President) must work to fulfil the promises he made to the Ghanaian electorate.
Otumfuo said he would continue to give the president the necessary support and advice as he did for his predecessors.
He also asked the President to take advantage of the love Ghanaians have for him to deliver on his mandate so he can leave a good legacy to Ghanaians.
