The Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Education Directorate has held its Best Teachers’ Award ceremony at Enyan Abaasa.
Speakers at the ceremony included the District Chief Executive, Mr. Kenneth Obempong, the District Director of Education, Mr. peter Droefenu, Mr. Albert K. Koomson, the Director of Centre for Continuous Education, University of Cape coast, who was the guest speaker and the Central Regional Director of Education.
All the speakers were unanimous in the fact that the standards of education would improve when all concerned played their various roles with all seriousness.
The awards included table-top refrigerators, colour television sets, full pieces of cloth and certificates.
