Bepong clinic gets $8,000 worth of medical equipment

Bepong (E/R), Nov. 12, GNA – Professor Raymond Asomani Boateng, a Ghanaian professor based in US on Thursday presented medical equipment worth $8,000 to the Bepong Community Clinic in the Eastern Region. The equipment included 10 blood pressure apparatus, 10 stethoscopes,=

two autoscopes and one wall mount blood pleasure apparatus. Presenting the equipment, Professor Boateng said the donation was hi= s personal contribution to the community where he hails from. Ms Emelia Barnes, a nursing officer in-charge of the clinic, who received the items thanked Professor Boateng for the gesture and promised= to put them into effective use to improve the health delivery system in the area. Professor Boateng is also assisting the community to construct a thr= ee classroom block, office and a store estimated at GH¢50,000.
