Benevolent association presents money to school

Beposo (Ash), Jan 29, GNA- Beposo ‘Onuado Kuo’, comprising citizens of Beposo in the Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District resident in the United Kingdom, on Wednesday presented seven million cedis to support 28 students of the Beposo Secondary School. Making the presentation, Mr Prince Owusu Sekyere, chairman of the association, said they realised that due to financial problems, brilliant students had been forced to stop school thereby affecting the enrolment of the school.

Mr J.B. Owusu-Ansah, Assemblyman for Beposo and a member of the school’s endowment fund committee who received the money, expressed the school’s gratitude to the association for its kind gesture. Mr Bright Addai-Mununkum, the Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District Chief Executive, called on other citizens of Beposo resident outside, NGOs and philanthropists to emulate the association.
