Ben Ahulu, former Information Officer dies

Tema, April 15, GNA- Mr Benjamin Adjei-Ashia Ahulu, former Tema Municipal Director of Information Services Department (ISD) has died. He began work with the ISD as a Cinema Commentator and rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Director until his retirement from active service.

He was 65.

Mr Ahulu was a Counsellor of the Information and Culture at the Embassy of Ghana, Tokyo in Japan between 1976 and 1981 and was also a former member of Board of Directors of the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and the Tema Methodist Day Secondary School.

He was also onetime chairman of the Tema branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).

He was a staunch Christian and an elder who played a leading role at the Bethel Methodist Church in Tema.

He was married with three sons.
