Bekwai traditional area now has a new Asamanhene

Bekwai (Ash), Jan. 13, GNA- The General Manager of Halko Group of Companies in Accra has been installed as Asamanhene of the Bekwai Traditional Area under the stool name Nana Agyepong Asante II. Known in private life as Mr Osei Agyemang, the new chief succeeds his uncle, Nana Kwame Acheampong II, who died some years ago. Swearing the oath of allegiance to Nana Karikari Appau II, Omanhene of the Bekwai Traditional Area, the new chief pledged to assist in finding a lasting solution to a protracted litigation, which is affecting the development of the town.
