BECE ends in Dangme East without incident

A total of 1,700 candidates sat the just-ended Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) in the Dangme East District.

Mr Appiah Kubi, officer in charge of examinations at the District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service, disclosed this to the GNA on Tuesday.

Mr Kubi said the examinations were free of malpractices and commended the candidates for comporting themselves during the period.

Dzetse Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III, Paramount Chief of the Ada Traditional Area, Mrs Comfort Doeyo Cudjoe Ghansah, NDC parliamentary candidate for Ada East, Mrs Atsupe Gorleku Ouarshie, NPP parliamentary candidate for Sege and Mr Divine Otu Agorhom, a prominent Ada citizen, were among those who sent goodwill messages to the candidates.**
