Be good ambassadors of the scheme- NHIS workers told

Winneba (C/R), Jan. 10, GNA-The Chairperson of the Awutu Effutu Senya District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme (AESDMHIS), Mrs. Georgina Asamoah, has advised NHIS workers to be good ambassadors of the Scheme wherever they would go. This, Mrs. Asamoah contended, would portray the good deeds of the Scheme to the people and encourage citizens who have not been captured by the Scheme to register.

In a New Year message to workers of the Awutu Effutu Senya District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme, the Chairperson, on behalf of the entire members of the Scheme’s Board of Directors, expressed her appreciation to the workers for their hard work and commitment towards the realization of the objectives of the NHIS.

Mrs. Asamoah however, warned them against complacency, stressing that, if they worked harder than the previous year a lot could be achieved to sustain and push ahead for more laurels in the coming years. Meanwhile, Mr. Christopher L. Oddoye, Manager of the Awutu Effutu Senya District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme, has assured the numerous clients of the Scheme of excellent services this year and appealed to people in both Effutu Municipality and the Awutu/Senya District to continue to show greater interest in the operations of the Scheme. Addressing workers of the Scheme at Winneba, Mr. Oddoye urged them to handle clients with deep sense of fellow-feeling and respect to promote higher worker/clientele relationship all the time. A spokesman for the workers also assured both the management and the Board of Directors of the Scheme of their preparedness to work harder than before to make the Scheme one of the NHIS promising branches in the country.
