Be circumspect in handling footsoldiers’ grievances – Osafo Marfo to NPP

The senior minister Dr. Yaw Osafo Marfo has urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be circumspect in handling grievances of the party footsoldiers in order not to create unnecessary disaffection within the party.

The footsoldiers, he explained are key to the sustenance of the party especially in winning power and therefore should not be looked down upon.

Speaking at the thanksgiving service for the NPP in Cape Coast, Hon. Osafo Marfo stated that a good relationship between the party hierarchy and the supporters has the potential of fostering good grounds for development.

Such party supporters, he indicated could even volunteer to provide vital information based on which officialdom is in charge to take decision for the benefit of all party members.

He also urged the party supporters not to put undue pressure on the party executives and government functionaries as government is committed to creating a congenial environment for all to earn a decent living.
