Bawumia votes in Walewale

Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamadu Bawumia will cast his vote at the Kperiga Presby Junior High School (JHS) polling station ‘A’ later today.

He and his wife Samira Bawumia are among 496 voters at the polling station which is closer to his family house.

The polling station was divided into A and B after the 2012 polls to ease the pressure with the B now containing 484 registered voters.

The Walewale constituency has total of 118 polling stations with 64,853 registered voters.

The parliamentary seat is currently being held by the party’s Dr Sagri Bambangi.
