Bawumia shares memories of Kwabena Boadu

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has shared memories of his former Special Aide, Kwabena Boadu who died through electrocution while on campaign duties at Upland Hotel in the Upper West Region.

Today November 24, 2017, commemorates a year of his passing.

In a Facebook post, Dr Bawumia said:”Exactly a year ago, my dearest brother and friend, Kwabena Boadu, left this world suddenly. My life has never been and will never be the same again. The pain never goes away. The void is too large to fill.

I miss Kwabena every single day. He was an unassuming, caring and brilliant young man who became my rock. I keep asking God “why?”. Kwabena, I miss you so much. You are my hero. May your soul rest in peace until we meet again”

He described him as a younger brother, friend and colleague.

“ Kwabena Boadu, in Wa under circumstances I cannot still understand. Kwabena was simply brilliant, diligent, loyal, and honest. I was most fortunate to have met him. He was matured beyond his years and was a trusted confidant. I am devastated. It is just unbelievable”
