Bawumia leaves for Mauritius

Ghana’s Vice President has left Accra for Mauritius to attend the National Day celebrations as a Special Guest.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, while in Mauritius, will hold bilateral talks with Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, President of Mauritius, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister, and other senior government officials of the country to firm up ties.

He will also attend a Breakfast Business meeting hosted by the Mauritian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, in collaboration with the Board of Investment.

He would be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister of Communications Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister of Business Development Ibrahim Awal, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Reginald Grant and other government officials.

The Vice President returns to Accra on Monday, 13 March.
