Bawumia arrives in Mauritius

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has arrived in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, where he will be Special Guest for the 49th independence anniversary of the island nation.

Dr Bawumia was welcomed at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport by Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth.

The National Day celebrations – independence anniversary and Republic Day – will be held on Sunday, March 12.

Ghana’s Vice President was accompanied by wife, Samira, and government officials including Minister for Foreign Affairs Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister for Communications Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister for Business Development Ibrahim Awal and Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Reginald Grant.
