Bawku gets 3,000 treated mosquito bed nets

Bawku (UE), Jan. 17, GNA – The Ghana Health Service has distributed about 3,000 insecticide treated bed nets to residents in the Bawku Municipality, to help prevent mosquito bites and reduce incidences of malaria in the area.

The initiative, dubbed: “hang up campaign”, was made possible by the United Nations Children’s Fund, the USAID and the American President’s Special Initiative on Malaria.
