Basic school heads asked to ensure transparency

Nkawie (Ash), Jan. 18, GNA=96 Basic School heads in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District have been advised to ensure transparent financial management and administrative efficiency, to promote teaching and learning in their schools.
The school heads were also asked to liaise with parents and guardians and other stakeholders in their communities to identify problems of schools and to suggest solutions.
Mr Felix Ntim-Gyakari, the Nkawie Circuit Supervisor of Education, said these at a forum for educationists from the district, aimed at identifying problems in schools and to initiate mechanisms to address such obstacles, at Nkawie in on Wednesday.
He said good leadership and good inter-personal relationship between teachers could promote morality and academic work. Mr Felix Ntim-Gyakari also called on parents to ensure that their children were give good health care to enhance learning. He further advised teachers to ensure that food vendors who sell hygienic and balanced diet to school children, for their proper mental and physical growth.
