Barclays bank donates to Tarkwa government hospital

Tarkwa, Nov 8, GNA -The Tarkwa branch of Barclays Bank has donated items worth 1,200 cedis to the Children’s Ward of the Tarkwa Government Hospital.

The items included milo, milk, cerelac, bag of sugar, baby wipers, baby diapers, mopping basket and brush.

In addition staff of the bank scrubbed the main corridor leading to the ward, cleared weeds and swept the surrounding areas.

Mr. Alex Bentil, Managing of the Tarkwa branch, said the bank annually spends some of their time with the people in the community in which they operate.

He said this year they chose to spend time with the Children’s Ward to make a difference in the life of the kids on admission.

Receiving the items Madam Victoria Peprah, the Nursing Officer in charge of the Ward and expressed gratitude to the staff of the bank for the donation.
