The burial ceremony of the Bantamahene Baffour Amankwatia Asare which is underway in Bantama.
The Prominent Chief died some months ago at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
He will be buried Friday midnight running into Saturday 12:am.
The funeral attracted thousands of people from all walks of life including President John Mahama, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP’s) Flagbearer Nana Addo, government officials and other politicians.
Due to the funeral celebration, business activities on the busiest street has been halted.
There was heavy security presence at the event.
