Bantama constituency NDC salutes Mills

The Bantama constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sent a message of congratulations to Professor John Evans Atta Mills on his election as presidential candidate of the party for the 2004 polls.

The message, which was jointly signed by Mr Benjamin Badu, the constituency chairman and Mr Daniel Frempong, secretary, said Professor Mills victory was significant in that “it confirms the trust the party has in him.”

It pledged sincere and unflinching support for his leadership, adding that, the executive would work tirelessly to “turn things around in the Bantama constituency come the next general elections.”

The message also took note of what it said was the significant role Mr Daniel Ohene Agyekum, a leading member of the NDC and former Minister of State, was playing to keep the party together.

It asked him not to relent in his good efforts but to keep it up to ensure total victory for the NDC in 2004.
