Bank donates to Ankasse Methodist Hospital

The Juaben Community Bank in the Ashanti Region, has donated GH¢ 5000 to the Methodist Faith Healing Hospital at Ankaase in the Afigya-Kwabre District.

The donation was to support the refurbishment of the paediatric unit of the hospital.

Mr Michael Amoah Addae, Head, Business Development Department, who presented the cheque, said it was in response to an appeal made by the hospital to the bank.

He said it is also part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility to the hospital and the people of the area.

Mr Addae pledged the continuous support of the bank to the development projects of the area and help improve the living conditions of the people, adding that the bank is currently constructing an ultra-modern x-ray centre at the Juaben hospital.

He urged the management of the hospital to ensure that the donation is used for its intended purpose.

Mr Joseph Atta Amankwa, Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, thanked the bank for the support and appealed to other institutions to come to the aid of the medical facility.
