Bagbin has lost political relevance – Asiama

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Isaac Asiamah has called on majority leader Alban Sumana Bagbin to retire from active politics.

According to Asiama, the Nadowli-Kaleo MP has lost relevance in the legislature and has become a loose cannon.

Asiamah made the call after Bagbin referred to him and other minority MPs who were heckling him during a debate to wrap up the 2016 budget as hotheads.

Despite withdrawing the charge Asiamah insists the leader of the house has lost his significance.

“If I were him I would have resigned because for me, he lacks principled politics…he is a hypocrite for him to describe some MPs as hotheads.

“If he understands the meaning of hotheads, it fits him perfectly,” Asiama told Starr FM’s Parliamentary correspondent Kobby Gomez Mensah.
