BA press to quiz regional minister

The Brong-Ahafo Region would take its turn at the Meet-the –Press Series on Thursday, November 10, at the Sunyani Polytechnic Auditorium. The Meet the Press series provide the opportunity for every regional minister to elaborate on the state of their respective regions.

The Brong-Ahafo regional minister, Mr. Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, is expected to respond to a number of questions bordering on the successes and achievements chalked under his tenure since 2009. The successes would be in relation to the implementation of development projects and programmes to improve the quality of life of the people, in line with the “Better Ghana Agenda” of the government.

To ensure optimal impact, the Meet–the-Press series programme will include a photo exhibition to be mounted by all municipal and district assemblies. It is envisaged that, the forgoing will, to a considerable extent ensure that the citizenry are better informed about government’s policies and programmes and thus boost the people’s confidence in the government

Chieftaincy disputes, the prolonged election of a presiding member for the Sunyani municipal assembly, BECE results, road networks, water supply, highway robbery, BA @50 Accounts, School Feeding Programme, road traffic system, the regional library, are some of the issues journalists are expected to throw at the regional minister.
