BA minister denies owning mansion

The Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr. Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, has denied owning a mansion at Aprepo in the Ashanti region.

He has subsequently cautioned radio panelists to avoid making unsubstantiated allegations which could cause irreparable damage to people’s reputation.

Mr. Nyamekye Marfo told Space FM ‘s Francis Owusu-Ansah that, “I do not have any mansion in the Ashanti region and I do not understand why anybody would like to make such wild allegation. This must stop since this is the second time I have heard about my ‘mansion’ I don’t even know anything about”.

The regional minister was reacting to an allegation by NPP’s communication team member and the Brong-Ahafo Regional Coordinator for the All Die Be Die Club, Mr. Kwame Baffoe, (Abronye DC), on Space FM’s News Review progamme, ‘The Hot Points’ on Saturday.

The two hour programme was hosted by Seth Opoku Agyemang, who pointed out to Mr. Kwame Baffoe that his submission could not be tolerated because it had no bearing on the topic under review.

Mr. Nyamekye Marfo, who sounded disturbed by the allegation by the NPP activist threatened to inform his lawyer for the necessary action to remedy the damage to his reputation.

Meanwhile, Mr. Baffoe when contacted said he stands by his submission.
