Ayigya community gets new place of convenience

Kumasi, June 17, GNA – A new 32-seat water closet place of convenience constructed by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) for the people of Ayigya, a suburb of Kumasi, was inaugurated on Friday. Inaugurating the facility, that cost 800 million cedis, Nana Akua Afriyie, the Queen Mother of Ayigya, commended DANIDA and advised the people to use the facility judiciously. Nana Afriyie later cut the sod for work to begin on an office building for the Area Town Council being put up by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
