Winneba (C/R), Jan. 20, GNA-The Awutu-Effutu-Senya district directorate of Education and the District Assembly have put in place measures and programmes to help improve the performance of pupils in basic schools in the district. Among the programmes were organisation of capacity building workshops for teachers and vacation classes for SHS three students. He urged them to put all that they had leant into practice at their various schools and teach their students properly to overcome their shortcomings.

Mr. Daniel Kweku Arhin, District Director of Education expressed the hope that, now that enough preparation have been done by both teachers and pupils, the district would register the best results in the history of the district. He appealed to parents to ensure that their children stay at home to study in order to pass their examinations.
