Avoid envy, selfishness – Pastor

Ho, April 8, GNA – The Reverend Seth Asamoah, Pastor of the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church Ho SSNIT Flats has said selfishness and envy is the cause of bad blood in many relationships. He said it was sad for people to labour and toil in their chosen vocations only to be maligned by others out of envy. Rev Asamoah was preaching at an Easter service at the Ho SSNIT Flats EP Church.

He called on the youth especially to tolerate their elders, learn from them and respect their views.

Rev Asamoah said the death and resurrection of the Jesus was another opportunity for Christians to renew their faith. At the Jubilee Christian Centre, the Reverend James Noble Tulasi, Resident Pastor of the Church, urged Christians to be reconciliatory and peacemakers wherever they found themselves.

He said this was because the main purpose of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day was to reconcile the world with God.
