Avoid camping of delegates – Aspirants told

Accra, Dec. 14, GNA – Regional Chairmen and Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were on Friday advised to avoid camping of delegates by aspirants.

A statement signed by the Party’s General Secretary, Nana Ohene Ntow urged the executives to ensure that adequate transportation arrangements were made to ensure that delegates from all constituencies in their respective regions arrived at the official accommodation for delegates at the University of Ghana by Friday, December 21, 2007. He further urged executives to inform delegates of arrangements for aspirants to meet and interact with them at their designated hostels and requested that delegates made themselves available to all aspirants on the eve of the congress.

Nana Ohene Ntow said he believed that these measures would further deepen the party’s internal democracy, fairness and equal playing field. 14 Dec. 07
