Avenor residents rescue young boy from death

A seventeen year old boy who fell into the drain at Avenor has fortunately been rescued by residents in the area.

According to the victim, who was playing football with some friends on Monday, one of his friends announced that his shorts was stolen.

He immediately gave his shorts to his friend to wear and went back for it after the match. Unfortunately, instead of getting his shorts back he was pushed into the gutter.

The residents who found the boy in the drain used a chain to pull him out.
