Australia to build polyclinic at Brimponegya

Mr Bossman Osei Hyiamang, Twifo-Atti Morkw, District Chief Executive, has announced plans by Australia to put up a polyclinic at Bomponegya, a suburb of Twifo-Praso.

At the General Meeting of the Assembly, Mr Hyiamang also said the proposed District Hospital would begin before the end of the year while mass spraying of crops would commence by the end of October.

He commended Mr Ato Ahmoah, Member of Parliament for Atti Morkwa for providing accommodation for Twifo Praso Nursing and Midwifery Training School.

On investment opportunities, he said, the Assembly has sent a concept paper on Palm Oil Producing and Quality Improvement to the Japan International Cooperation Agency for assistance to local small scale oil palm millers.

On revenue, Mr Hyiamang said the Assembly projected GH¢500,660.50 as expected revenue but was able to generate GH¢418,636.64, as at July representing 69.82 per cent.

He said the Government has supplied furniture to Wamaso Kojokrom basic schools.
