Atwima teachers congratulate Mr Obeng-Darko

Nkawie (Ash), Oct. 15, GNA- Teachers in Atwima district and staff at the district education directorate have congratulated Mr Eddy Obeng-Darko, the District Director of Education on his election as the National President of Conference of District Directors of Education. Mr Obeng-Darko was elected at the annual conference of the District Directors of Education at Cape Coast last weekend.

In a statement signed by Mr R. Owusu-Agyemang, Assistant Director of Education in-charge of the Public Relations Unit at the directorate, the teachers and staff commended Mr Obeng-Darko for bringing honour, glory, dignity and respect to Atwima district and the Ashanti region. The statement expressed appreciation for the district director’s role in the development and provision of education.

“The directorate and teachers in Atwima district recognise your immense efficiency in the control and management of education delivery system which has raised tremendously the standard of education in Atwima district.

“Your policy and belief that education is a social enterprise which demands efforts and contributions from all stakeholders, has brought about your all-inclusive, honest, democratic and transparent administration resulting in the much needed improvement in education and the establishment of an efficient administrative governing system in Atwima district”, said the statement.

The staff and teachers pledged their “unflinching support, to Mr Obeng-Darko.
