Nkawie (Ash) Aug 21, GNA – The Atwima-Nwabiagya District Assembly, has donated food items valued at GH¢5,000.00 to Muslims in the area as they go through the Holy month of Ramadan.
The items include 10 bags of rice, 10 bags of sugar and other food items.
Nana Asare Bediako, the District Chief Executive, who presented the items at Nkawie, appealed to Muslims to pray for national, peace, harmony and progress during Ramadan.
Mallam Mustapha Ali, the Imam of Nkawie, thanked the assembly for the gifts.
