Atwima Mponua NDC adopts house-to-house campaign strategy

Nyinahin (Ash), Nov. 28, GNA – The Executives of the Atwima Mponua Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have adopted a house-to- house campaign strategy to re-take the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2008 election. Mr Akwasi Twumasi, Constituency Chairman, made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Nyinahin on Wednesday. He urged NDC supporters in the constituency to close their ranks and bury their differences for the progress of the party. Mr Twumasi said special training for foot soldiers of the party in the constituency had begun to enable them check election malpractices in the coming elections.

He called on Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in 2008 since the NPP has failed the electorate. Mr Twumasi cautioned supporters to be wary of politicians who might influence them with money and gifts just to win their votes.
