Atwima Kwanwoma Chiefs declare massive support for Akufo-Addo

All 58 Chiefs in the Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti region have thrown their weight behind the Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo in the December polls.

According to them, Nana-Addo remains the best bet for good governance for the next government, hence their declaration of massive support for him.

Speaking on behalf of the Chiefs, Otumfuo’s Mpaboahene, Nana Yaw Owusu said Ghana needs a leader who can spearhead development in the country, claiming they see that in Nana Akufo-Addo.

“This is your family; We are always with you whether good or bad and we’ll support you everytime. We always remember you in our prayers. When we pour libation we remember you. All of us here are ready to vote for you because we know you’ll deliver on your promise. We do it all the time and so let’s come together and show our support for Nana Akufo-Addo once again in this elections by voting for him massively,” he said.

The opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP) Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo is currently in the party’s stronghold – Ashanti region in earnest bid for the party’s return to government ahead of the December polls .

Nana Addo is billed to spend four days to tour the region and interact with electorates on the NPP’s Change theme and the message of hope to the masses.

The tour of Ashanti, which is his second tour of the region this year, will see Nana Akufo-Addo visiting a total of 11 constituencies

Nana Akufo-Addo will move to the Volta Region after the completion of his 4-day tour of the Ashanti Region.
