Atwima-Asenemaso Spend 4.8mC On Electricity

Atwima-Asenemaso (Ash), June 23, – The people of Atwima-Asenemaso in the Atwima district have extended electricity to the new site of the town and a street lighting project at a cost of 4.8 million cedis. Briefing newsmen during an inspection of the project yesterday, Nana Owusu Adade and Mr Kwaku Osei-Barima, Chairman and Secretary respectively of the Town Development Committee, said that the project was financed through the resources of the people. Nana Adade said the Atwima District Assembly provided cement, scantlings and iron rods towards the construction of a toilet in the town. He appealed to land developers for assistance either in cash or in kind towards the development of the town. Mr Osei-Barima expressed praised the residents for turning up in their numbers during communal labour.
