Attorney General’s office full of NDC State Attorneys – Kennedy Agyapong

The outspoken member of parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that some State Attorneys at the office of the Attorney General are sabotaging the government in prosecuting past NDC officials.

According to the maverick politician, the A-G’s office is full of members of the opposition National Democratic Congress who are intentionally delaying the prosecution of former president Mahama’s ministers who are perceived to be corrupt.

Speaking on Adom TV, Hon. Agyapong noted that “I think the prosecution of these corrupt NDC officials is taking far too long because the A-G’s office is full of NDC members. Apart from the A-G and her deputy, the rest are all NDC members and that is why there is no progress in the prosecution and I’m worried”

Mr. Agyapong recently revealed that the docket for the prosecution of five former appointees is ready but few months after Ghanaians are yet to witness the first prosecution.
