Atta Mills In Worcester, Massachusetts

Professor John Evans Attah Mills, the former Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and the Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress was greeted to a rousing welcome in Worcester, MA on Saturday August 18, 2007. The program was held at Clarks University in Worcester, MA. In attendance was the Mayor of Worcester Hon. Konstatina Lukes, the representative of the Lt. Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Mr. Timothy Murray, Ghanaians, representatives of sister African countries and people from all walks of life. The program was addressed by Mr. Timothy Murray, Hon. Konstatina Lukes , Hon. Alhaji Hudu Yahaya, National Vice Chairman of NDC and former Minister of State, Professor Kwaku Danso Boafo, Lecturer, Diplomat and former Minister of Health and other dignitaries.

Professor John Evans Atta Mills gave the keynote speech. Mr. William Antwi, the moderator led the gathering through interactive questions and answers session. Hon. Alhaji Hudu Yahaya then inaugurated NDC Massachusetts Chapter. Reverend Fred Frimpong administered a powerful and touching opening and closing prayer. The day ended with party and a barbecue session.
